Pachmarhi: Sangeet Sadhana Mandir, now run by Suvarta Kendra, is set to offers ‘residential Hindustani classical music course’ for priests, religious, seminarians and laity from May 6 to June 25.
“We offer degree and diploma in vocal, tabla and violin. A subsidized charge for two months (board, lodge, tuition, and exam fee) is 9500 rupees only,” said Fr Panneer Selvam, director of Sangeet Sadhana Mandir, Pachmarhi.
The center has 10 qualified teachers who cover the entire one year’s course in two months time–May and June.
“We had 52 students last year and all of them passed with first division,” said Fr. Selvam.
