New Delhi: St. Stephen’s College principal Valson Thampu on Monday said that his college was ready for a judicial or CBI enquiry, after a student alleged that a professor had sexual harassed her.

“I have absolute trust in the competency of Delhi Police. We have nothing to hide. We are ready for a judicial inquiry or a CBI inquiry. We are committed to the justice. Unfortunately she (the victim) has been hijacked and misled by certain forces. I feel sorry for her,” Thampu told ANI, Zee News reported.

“Behaving like Khap Panchayats does not reflect favourably on anyone. Please give time for the truth to come out,” he added.
