Waynad(Kerala): Fr. Shanoj Mattathilani, belonging to the Little Flower Congregation (CST Fathers) passed away in Tanzania in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
He was 29 and died of a cardiac arrest.
Fr.Shanoj originally hails from Yavanarkulam parish of Mananthavady diocese in Kerala.
He completed his studies in Theology in Good Shepherd Major Seminary, Kunnoth in Kannur district, Kerala and was ordained priest in 2015. He had arrived in Tanzania just two months ago for missionary work.
Arrangements are being made to repatriate his body to Kerala.
