Kottayam,Kerala : A software engineer from Kottayam was found dead in her apartment in Clayton, Melbourne, Australia on Tuesday.
The deceased has been identified as Monisha Arun, 27, wife of Arun, hailing from Pala.
According to reports available, Monisha was found dead in her apartment bedroom at Clayton, when Arun, a nurse by profession, returned home after his work on Tuesday.
He soon informed the police of the incident and the body was taken for post-mortem.
Monisha is the daughter of Mohan Kumar and Suseela Devi of Cherukatt house, Veliyannoor near Ponkunnam in Kottayam district. She had moved to Australia after marrying Arun.
The relatives and functionaries of Malayali Association in Melbourne have commenced the efforts to bring the body back to Ponkunnam.
The police are yet to release details regarding the death.
