New Delhi: The wait is finally over. Indian journalist and television news anchor Arnab Goswami’s Republic was launched on May 6, 10 am.  Republic will be available on TV across DTH platforms and Star India’s video-on-demand platform, Hotstar.

Claiming to be India’s Biggest News Network, the channel is being rolled out with the tagline “We are your Voice”. The channel was soft launched a few days back.

Ever since Goswami announced the launch of Republic, it has been in the news. The brand is launching with 11 advertisers which are Vivo, Renault India, Jio, Hike, Yes Bank, Microsoft, Ravin, Nestaway, Future Group, Havells and Ola and Star India which it is calling a “Founding Partner”.

The brand in the recent days went all out to promote Goswami’s come back on television. From extensive promotions on Star Network to big digital and OOH push, Republic leveraged major platforms to attract attention and create awareness.

For the record, Republic is India’s first independent media venture which is managed purely by content professionals. The channel aims to provide original programming and delivering in-depth analysis on news that matters to the viewers.
