Ranchi: The Church of North India (CNI) on Monday said it has initiated the process of creating an education hub in Jharkhand comprising 10 new CBSE-affiliated English medium schools to provide quality education and stop students from migrating to other parts of the country.

“The CNI is already managing five English medium schools in Ranchi and Khunti, all affiliated to ICSE, along with two Hindi medium schools for girls in Ranchi and Chaibasa. All these schools have stood the test of time, offering the best of education to boys and girls of the state, Bishop B B Baskey, head of the CNI in Chotanagpur, told Times of India.

He added: “We have now drawn up plans to set up an education hub of 10 schools, all affiliated to CBSE, that would be located at Ranchi and Itki in Ranchi district, Manoharpur in West Singhbhum district and Kamdara in Gumla district. The headquarters would be based in Ranchi.”
