New Delhi: The Catholic Bishops’ Conference of India (CBCI) will promulgate guidelines to deal with sexual harassment at workplace.

Bishop Theodore Mascarenhas, the conference’s secretary general, will on September 14 release the “CBCI Guidelines to deal with Sexual Harassment at Workplace.”

Bishop Jacob Mar Barnabas, chairperson of CBCI Council for Women, Monsignor Joseph Chinnayyan, CBCI deputy secretary general, and other dignitaries are expected the released scheduled for 3.30 pm at the CBCI Centre, New Delhi.

Besides, many priests, nuns and lay people are expected to attend the event.

“We thank wholeheartedly all those who have contributed in the formulation of this document,” said Sister Talisha Nadukudiyil, secretary of the CBCI Council for Women.

The CBCI Council for Women requests prayers and blessings for the success of the promulgation of this document, added the member of the Sisters of the Destitute.
