Bhubaneswar: It was a big day for Kandhamal: press conference and book release took place on Jan 4 at Odisha capital Bhubaneswar, Eastern India.
Goldman prize laureate Prafulla Samantara released the revised edition of the investigative book that exposes the Kandhamal fraud and travesty of justice along with Kedarnath Mishra (senior journalist and writer), Dhirendra Panda (CSFHR) and Narendra Mohanty (Campaign Against Fabricated Cases) at Lohiya Academy, Bhubaneswar.
‘Who Killed Swami Laxmanananda?’ (investigative book, authored by journalist Anto Akkara) exposes Sangh Parivar’s role in Kandhamal fraud and questions why seven innocent convicts are languishing in jail for nine years)
The journalist author, Akkara who has made 25 trips to Kandhamal made a multi-media presentation with clinching evidence to show how the nation was fooled by the Sangh Parivar conspiracy with the murder of Swami Laxmanananda Saraswati on 2008 Janmashtami night. That explains why seven innocent Christians – six of illiterates including one mentally challenged – are languishing in jail for ninw years after being fraudulently convicted to life imprisonment for the murder touted as a Christian conspiracy.
After the release, the author answered questions from the media on the shocking role of Sangh Parivar in the Kandhamal fraud, such as “Who hatched the ‘Christian conspiracy’ behind Swami Laxmanananda’s murder? What is the role of local and national leaders of VHP and other outfits? What is the role of National Security Advisor Ajit Kumar Doval, Defense Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, BJP general secretary Ram Madhav in Kandhama cover-up? Is India Foundation nation’s ‘truth factory’? Who framed up 7 innocent Christians in the Swami’s murder?
The revised edition of the investigative book was released at the Constitution Club of India, New Delhi on December 28 by veteran journalist Kuldip Nayar along with D Raja (general secretary, CPI), Oscar Fernandes (MP, Congress) and Brinda Karat (politburo, CPM) in the presence of a host of dignitaries.
The shocking revelations brought by the book has made the media to bring out the stunning facts behind the Kandhamal conflagration. In short, Kandhamal is the epitome of the crookedness of the Sangh Parivar.
The book brings to the fore the plight of seven innocent Christians – including a mentally challenged illiterate – languishing in jail for 9 years due to the shocking Sangh Parivar fraud on Kandhamal in which the National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman have played a key role in covering up the fraud abusing even the name of the nation with ‘India Foundation’.
