Young Mizo girl becomes first to complete Air Force training at US

Aizawl: Meet Zoenpari, a young Mizo lady to join US Air Force and also becoming the first lady to complete training at the US Air Force.

Zeonpari Chhakchhuak (19) is the daughter of Pu Dave Chhakchhuak and Pi Zothannguri Ralte residing in Chhinga Veng, Aizawl.

Zeonpari completed her SSLC from Little Kingdom School with distinction, and her HSSLC at Dawrpui School of Science and Technology with success securing first position. After which she continued her BSc 1st semester at Zirtiri College. She had to later drop off in 2014 since she went to other states.

She successfully got through her USAF examination in May 2017 receiving 89% in her exams. Later, she joined the Basic Military Training (BMT) Fort from July 2017 at Sam Houston, San Antonio; Texas.

She completed the 1st phrase of training on January 2018, graduating with 94%.

Zeonpari will continue her training from February 2018 to October at the Andrew’s Airforce Base, Virginia.
