  1. Eternal rest grant unto him O Lord and let your perpetual light shine upon Fr Francis Raju Kakkari.

  2. My heartfelt condolences to his dear ones, his friends, his Bishop, fellow priests and parishioners. Sudden and accidental deaths like this bring a lot of pain and sorrow. May the Lord give them comfort and solace.
May he rest in peace. R.I. P.

  3. Every death is saddening, for every life is precious. Nevertheless one needs to ask some uncomfortable questions.

    1. Was the victim wearing a helmet?
    2. Why are so many priests involved in fatal road accidents? Is it something to do with their psychological make up? Do they think that they are the kings of the road, that can do no wrong?
    3. Being unmarried, with nobody to control them, do they have a reckless and cavalier approach to life?
    4. Are some of them, who may be coming from relatively deprived backgrounds, becoming exuberant at so easily getting a vehicle, that they would otherwise have had to slog for?

Bishops should address these “pastoral” issues. We laity are competent enough to handle political affairs.

  4. You have run a good race, fought a good fight, now enter into to the Kingdom of God. Our God comes at any time. Good and faithful servants will be ready any where, either on the altar or on the road. It so with him we believe. Dear father enter into the joy of heaven promised by the God of the living . RIP. Hearty condolences to the diocese and as well of his family members. May he be replaced by a good and committed priestly vocation.
