It is hoped that trough this Centre there will be over 5000 renewable energy skilled employment/self-employment manpower creation and job opportunities in next 5 years.

In a confident note, Technology Evangelist Mr. I. Lanu tells, “As the country dreams of becoming a ‘renewable energy superpower’ it will tap the renewable energy resource of the northeastern states as models of innovation, implementation and commitment to achieving the goal.”

The geographical and geological challenges in northeastern states make the super or large power supply grids practically and economically unviable.

It is under such conditions; distributed energy or onsite energy generation and consumption model would be both economically and practically viable.
