Dimapur: In one of its earnest efforts to reach out the orphanage homes, the River of Soul Saving Ministry organizes gospel concert on March 25 at local ground starting 5 pm, under the theme, “”What shall I render for the lord for all his benefits to Me”, taken from Psalms 116:2.
The concert features internationally acclaimed artists Alobo Naga and the band, finest music artists The Bel Canto Choir, Visedelhou Terhuja, L.C Sekhose and Roukuovotuo Angami and the most loved children from the Kohima Orphanage Home.
The concert was supported by various churches. Principal Kohima Bible College and pastor, Koinonia Baptist Church, Kohima Rev. Zotuo Kiewhuo will be the special guest of the event, Nagalandpost reported.
Interacting media persons at the residence of Rev. Zotuo Tuesday morning, organizing committee convener Razou Angami and secretary Visedelhou Terhüja informed that the concert aims to reach out to the orphanage homes and hear their voice. He said the profit generated from the concert will be utilized for conducting a Bible camp for all the orphanage children across Nagaland, tentatively scheduled in the month of September this year.
During the bible camp for the orphanage homes, collation of ‘offering’ would be held and out of which again the organizers will conduct bible camp for the aged people and in continuation, the amount (offering) collected from the second camp, another bible camp for differently abled people will be organized.
Rev. Zotuo maintained that he was impressed with the concept keeping in mind the word of God that tells to reach out to the widows and orphans and the idea to reach out to the children at orphanage homes to make them realize the feeling of oneness and how precious they are in the eyes of God and through the concert impressive and humble approach the voice of the children at orphanage homes would be heard.
