Mumbai: Maharashtra Navnirman Sena president Raj Thackeray’s wife Sharmila Thackeray underwent a surgery on Tuesday after she was bitten on the face by one of the family’s pet dogs at their home in Mumbai. Family sources said that Thackeray’s wife Sharmila was recovering in Mumbai’s premier Hinduja Hospital, after she
was bitten by the Great Dane, Bond, minutes before Raj was scheduled to address a press conference. Sharmila had to undergo a plastic surgery and received 65 stitches on her cheeks due to the bite, reported The Times of India. Meanwhile, plastic surgeon Dr Anil Tibrewala, who operated on Sharmila said that she was stable.
