Belagavi: Miscreants in city once again attempted to create communal disharmony, by damaging the holy cross belong to Methodist Church in India near Sangolli Rayanna Circle on Tuesday late night.
Church authority has claimed it was the cross at the same location since decades and was being worshiped every day. Miscreants have cut the cross from bottom and carried the same along with them, The Times of India reported.
Christian community strongly condemned the incident and registered complaint in Market police station.
