Ranchi: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has hit out at accusations of it being involved in recent hate crimes and said that there were attempts to put the organization ‘in the dock.’ Suresh (Bhayya) Joshi, general secretary of the organization, said on Sunday that there is a ‘pre-planned conspiracy to demean Hindus.’
In the city to attend Akhil Bharatiya Karyakari Mandal (ABKM)-the half yearly meeting of RSS, Joshi said that it is a matter of concern that the Hindu society is being blamed for recent spurt in violence across the country.

Blaming anti-social elements for spreading hate, Joshi said that RSS is committed to working for harmony among people.
“RSS has been in public life as a society of the Hindus for 90 years now and we have been taking along with us every section of society. It is not just bad but also a matter of concern if the Hindu society is blamed for disrupting peace and harmony of the society without going deep into the matter,” he said, asking people to sense the conspiracy being hatched by some fringe elements, The Times of India reproted.
Joshi also asked political personalities to avoid making provocative statements and said individual leaders are responsible for what they say in public. “In the first place, responsible people should know what they are speaking and also, they must keep in mind Hindu values while issuing a statement,” said Joshi.
