Dimapur: Don Bosco Tech Society of Dimapur region aims to train 2, 600 underprivileged unemployed youths and provide them job placement under the skill development program ‘Mission 2016.’ This was decided during the annual meeting of Don Bosco Tech Dimapur region during January 4-5 at the group’s regional head office in Dimapur.
“We want to train and provide job placement to 2, 600 less privileged youth with minimum education qualification through the 10 Don Bosco skill training centers in the states of Arunachal Pradesh, Upper Assam, Nagaland and Manipur”, said a press release that the group issued to the media on Saturday, January 9.

To reach this target each of the 10 skill training centers are given target, the press release said. “Employment oriented skill training is provided for 2 months and successful candidates are given job placement. We have placed our candidates in companies such as Taj group of hotels, JW Marriott, Radisson Blue, Le Meridian, Jiva Spa and so on,” the press release said.
“Though they are from very rural background at the end of two-month training these youth are ready for work anywhere in the country and in companies of international standards”, Bro.
