Patna. A youth festival named ‘Colors of Youth’ was organised on Sunday at St. Xavier’s College and St. Xavier’s College of Management and Technology. The event was held especially for the first year students of the college. Popular RJ Shashi from Radio Mirchi was present as the chief guest.
Mesmerizing dance, song, poem, drama and band performances by the students of the college were a delight for the audience. Archit and Sharib of BBA 2nd year anchored the program. Everyone went footloose with the dancers. The event also had the essence of literature as some of the students recited beautiful poems and at last there were band performances which drove the crowd to frenzy.
Stuti Kumari and Rajan of BMC 1st year won the ‘Face of Youth’ competition. An interactive session with first year students was also a part of the event which was conducted by BCP 3rd year student Abhas accompanied by the chief guest RJ Shashi.
RJ Shashi shared his experience and gave the mantra for becoming a good speaker by saying, “Always remember the listener is always you. Stand in front of a mirror and practise speaking and you will definitely build confidence to speak before a crowd. Voice modulation is the only thing which is helping me and the only reason you all love to listen to me.”
The event was organized by the BBA 2nd year students.
