The presiding deity In that temple is Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar, whom many revere as the “God of Cricket.”
A diehard fan of Tendulkar has converted his hut into a temple for the Indian cricket legend. He has filled it with memorable photographs and souvenirs of the cricketer, who turned 45 on April 24 this year.
The day holds great significance for cricket fans not just in India but across the globe. They say the Master Blaster, as he is fondly called, has changed cricket into a religion.
In his 24-year cricketing career, Tendulkar won hearts of billions of fans who chanted “Sachin, Sachin, Sachin” at stadiums, streets, and almost all places where they witnessed the record breaking feats one after another.
