Jaipur, Nov 22, 2019: More than 35 healthcare experts from India and abroad will gather in Jaipur, capital of Rajasthan state, to focus on breakthrough technologies, transformations and innovations in healthcare.

The 24th edition of “Pradanya” (wisdom), organized by the Jaipur-based Indian Institute of Health Management Research (IIHMR), will engage experts from healthcare, pharmaceuticals, the development sector and allied industries in an intellectual churning to enhance efficiency and transparency to achieve Sustainable Development Goals by 2030.

The November 23-25 conference will address the theme, “Future of Healthcare: Globalization, Local Innovations and You.”

The annual international conference will also seek ways to use technology to enhance healthcare efficiency. It will promote value-based healthcare and tackle price transparency, and look for new directions in preventive healthcare and encourage purpose-driven startups and innovation for health impact.

An array of policy makers from state and the federal governments will attend the event, says a university press release.

IIHMR University president Pankaj Gupta says the conference has for the past more than two decades focused on “the most relevant and burning topics of healthcare that have immense significance for India and rest of the world.”

This year, it would present the vision of healthcare of future by focusing on breakthrough technologies, transformations, innovations and discoveries, as well as the existing healthcare models and best practices, he says.

“This year’s topic covers a wide spectrum of healthcare mechanisms, from new schemes to data analytics and technological innovations. I am confident that India’s healthcare industry will gain immensely from the key insights generated from the intellectual churning at this prestigious event.”

Dozens of delegates and students from hospitals, healthcare, pharmaceutical and rural management institutions have submitted quality papers and primary and secondary research-based studies that analyze trending issues facing the sector, the press release adds.

It claims the “Pradanya” has helped spread wisdom among young minds and professionals of healthcare, hospital, pharmaceutical and rural development sectors.

It also has served as a prominent platform of interaction between industry luminaries and fresh talent pool of students. It encourages students to display their knowledge in the form of research papers and posters, which over the years have been published in various journals throughout the world.
