The Rashtriya Isai Maha Sangh (National Christian Federation) launched a campaign to get support from the government authorities, its spokesperson Richard James said in a press release on August 11.
The federation on August 9 submitted a memorandum to the state chief minister through the Additional District Magistrate, Bhopal, the state capital.
The federation wants services from 8 am to 10 am and then 5 pm to 7 pm on Sundays.
The federation also said it has brought its concern to the attention of the chief minister.
Under the present circumstances, the Madhya Pradesh government has prohibited any religious services as the state is under complete lockdown to contain coronavirus.
The federation plans to meet the state governor on this subject and request the prime minister for the same.
