Guwahati, January 9, 2024: Lead Academy Bangalore, co-founded by motivational speaker Salesian Fr Vattathara V. M. Thomas and Corporate trainer Mr John Benedict, in collaboration with Don Bosco Institute of Management, Guwahati was inaugurated on January 8, 2024.
The first batch of participants include 41 priests, Brothers and Sisters between 30 to 45 years working in 7 dioceses and 18 congregations in India.
“Post Graduate Program in Organizational Leadership is a full time immersive and interactive transformational program, says Fr Vattathara addressing inaugural session.
Vattathara explains, “It provides a time of learning, sharing, networking, and supporting persons holding middle-level managerial position and equip them in leadership.”
“By the end of the course, the participants will be able to apply the principles and practices of effective leadership in various contexts and situations, while developing and communicating their personal vision, mission, goals and values as leaders,” Vattathara assures.
Spelling out a list of 10 outcomes of the program, corporate trainer Mr John Benedict says, “Each participant should embrace the values and teachings of Jesus and grow in faith and integrate them into their leadership practice.”
Benedict insists that, “Each participant should pursue excellence and innovation and strive to improve themselves and their organizations continuously.”
The first two-week phase of one month course scheduled in 3 phases started at Don Bosco Institute, Guwahati on 8th January 2024 with inaugural Holy Eucharist, presided over by Archbishop John Moolachira of Guwahati.
Second phase is scheduled to be held in Bangalore from 7th to 13th July 2024 and third phase in DBI Guwahati from 7th to 18th October 2024
