Siliguri, November 1, 2025 — Celebrating two decades of transformative youth empowerment, New Delhi based Don Bosco Tech Society launched its newly redesigned official website at its Siliguri campus, November 1, 2025.

The event was held in the presence of Delegates of Youth Ministry gathered for South Asia Regional Meeting as well as students, staff, and Salesian representatives. Over 200 staff members from across India joined the ceremony virtually, affirming the Society’s commitment to digital outreach and inclusive growth.

Speaking at the occasion Fr George Mathew, Executive Director of Don Bosco Tech Society, affirmed, “This website is more than a digital upgrade — it is a renewed invitation to partners, youth, and educators to walk with us in building futures. Our mission is not just to skill, but to restore dignity and unlock opportunity where it’s needed most.”

The new platform — www.dbtech.in — offers a dynamic window into Don Bosco Tech’s mission of “connecting talent with opportunity,” featuring impact data, success stories, and program updates that reflect the heart of its skilling journey.

With a network of over 300 institutions across 217 districts in India, Don Bosco Tech offers formal, non-formal, and short-term skill training programs designed to bridge the digital, social, and economic divide. Its focus remains steadfast: enhancing employability and life management skills among marginalized youth.

Don Bosco Tech Society is a nationwide network dedicated to empowering young people through skill development and livelihood opportunities. With over 480 training centres across 29 states and a presence in 31 states and union territories, the Society focuses on equipping marginalized youth with technical skills, life values, and the confidence they need to succeed. Its programs span formal, non-formal, and short-term training formats, all designed to bridge India’s digital, social, and economic divides.

Participating on-line Fr Eugene Florence, Director of Don Bosco Skill Mission, highlighted the Society’s reach: over 4.78 lakh youth trained with a 72% placement rate — a living testament to its vision of skilling India’s youth with purpose and dignity.

Current statistics reflect the scale of this mission: 478,636 youth skilled, 2,744 under training, 764 training centres, and 175 skill domains.

The launch sets the stage for the upcoming National Convention 2026 in Bangalore, themed “20 Years of Skilling with a Heart – Building Futures Together.”
