Washington, Dec. 27, 2025: The pro-Khalistan group Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) has urged the creation of a Christian homeland in India’s northeast, provocatively named “Trump Land”, in response to attacks on worshippers during Christmas celebrations.
According to Kashmir Media Service, SFJ released a map outlining the proposed region across Nagaland, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Manipur, Tripura, and Assam—states described as a contiguous Christian-majority belt that could serve as a refuge for persecuted minorities.
In a video statement, SFJ leader Gurpatwant Singh Pannun appealed directly to U.S. President Donald Trump, warning of “cultural, physical, and political dangers” faced by Christians in India. “President Donald Trump is the only world leader who has the courage, authority, and resources to intervene in this situation,” Pannun declared.
He alleged that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government, preaching the Bible had become a crime, churches were being set ablaze, and Christian settlements attacked. “While the world was celebrating Christmas, Christians in India were facing organized violence, attacks, and oppression,” he said, adding that Sikhs in Punjab were also at grave risk.
Pannun further cited RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat’s statement declaring India a Hindu state as evidence of growing intolerance. He insisted that only strong international pressure could safeguard India’s minorities.
Reports of assaults on worshippers, vandalism of churches, and disruptions of Christmas services have surged in recent years, heightening fears among Christian communities.
SFJ, headquartered in the United States, is simultaneously conducting a global referendum for the creation of a separate Sikh homeland, Khalistan
