NEW DELHI, September 26, 2026: Archbishop Anil J. T. Couto of Delhi on Thursday launched the official website of the Northern Regional Family Commission, calling it “a sign of hope and a true companion” for families seeking guidance in today’s digital age.
The ceremony at the Archbishop’s House included Auxiliary Bishop Deepak V. Tauro of Delhi, Father George Manimala, regional executive secretary, and web designers Shubham and Kalpana Raymond.
Archbishop Couto praised the initiative as a creative response to Pope Francis’ call to accompany families at every stage of life. Bishop Tauro highlighted the portal’s user-friendly design, saying it would help connect with young people and families across the region.
A key feature of the site is its Resources Page, launched during the 10th Year of Amoris Laetitia – The Joy of Love. It offers reflections, prayers and formation materials for engaged couples, newlyweds, middle-aged couples and those in their golden years.
The portal will also collaborate with Catholic Connect Matrimony to assist young Catholics seeking partners for sacramental marriage.
Father Manimala thanked the archbishop for his encouragement and expressed hope the site would become “a vibrant pastoral hub” for dioceses in the Northern Region. The website, familycommissionnorth.in, is now available to parishes.
