New Delhi — A three-member delegation led by Albert D’Souza, Archbishop of Agra and Secretary General of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of India (CBCI), called on Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Monday.
The visiting delegation thanked the Union Home Minister for providing adequate security for the religious places of different minorities.
They mentioned that the personal interest and assurance on these issues by the Home Minister has given confidence to the minorities, reported Business Standard.
Rajnath Singh assured full security and protection to them and mentioned that strictest possible action will be taken by the federal government against the persons who indulge in such acts.
He also hoped that the state governments will extend their full cooperation in maintaining law and order and communal harmony in the country.
