Bhopal: A tribal woman has cutoff the private part of a man who tried to rape her in central India.
The incident took place February 28 night at Govarde, a village in Umaria district of Madhya Pradesh state
The man, Ramkaran Prajapati, suffered serious injury when the woman used a kitchen knife to cut his private parts.
However, during the course of investigation cops came to know the woman resorted to the drastic step when the 29-year-old man tried to rape her.
Prajapati was rushed to police station and lodged a complaint against the woman.
According to the reports, the man did not make any complaint at first, but as he was bleeding profusely, he had to approach doctors at hospitals.
The doctors refused to treat him without informing the police. Subsequently, he reached Manpur police station and made a complaint alleging that the woman and her husband cut him.
Prajapati is undergoing treatment at a government hospital in Manpur, reports abplive.in.
