Bangalore: Project Vision, an NGO, is organizing the ‘Voice of the Eye’, a global speech competition, and create awareness on the donation of their eyes.
The theme of the completion is “An appeal for eye donation.”
The objective of this competition is to inspire people to donate their eyes and to express our solidarity with the visually challenged people across the world.
Project Vision has been working on improving the plight of the visually challenged people, especially through a movement on eye donation, to take them out of disability.
It is one of the social projects under the Hope Anti-Addiction Action Group, a registered charity of the Claretian Missionaries of Bangalore. Project Vision is a valuable partner of the Catholic Health Association of India (CHAI) and works under the leadership of Father George Kannanthanam.
The prize amount is 25,000 rupees, 15,000 rupees and 10,000 rupees for the first, second and third places. The visually challenged participants will have a special prize. Competition is open to everyone.

If selected, one can participate in the final live performance on December 3, which is International Day for disabilities, said Father Mathew Abraham, director-general, CHAI.
