Mirik, Sept 28. 2025: Don Bosco Higher Secondary School Mirik that became a higher secondary school in 2017, has honored 11 alumni who secured admission to medical and engineering institutions over the past four years.

The September 28 felicitation ceremony spotlighted the achievements of students who cleared competitive entrance exams including NEET, All India JEE, and West Bengal JEE.

Rector Father Mathew Pulingathil and principal Father Solomon Rai presented commemorative mementoes to the achievers.

The honorees included four NEET qualifiers, one All India JEE entrant, and six who cleared the West Bengal JEE. Most succeeded in their first attempt.

Established in 1982, Don Bosco Mirik was recognized as a junior high school in 2005 and upgraded to high school in 2009.

“This recognition is not just for individual excellence, but a testament to the collective spirit of our school community that nurtures dreams against all odds,” Father Raj said.

The ceremony concluded with a call to younger students to emulate their seniors.
